Orgonite craft: how a Pranakristall® is made
Since 2009 we have been making orgonite pyramids in small batches – with real gemstones, high-quality metals and a multi-stage process that takes days.
Gemstone composition
Curated selection and layered arrangement inside the Giza form. Matrix for example: black tourmaline, onyx, elite shungite and bornite are set individually, layer by layer.
Resin casting & 72 h rest
Gold-shimmering casting resin with metal shavings (copper, brass, gold) flows around the gemstones in several layers. Each pyramid then rests vibration-free for 72 hours – as it cures, the resin shrinks and creates permanent pressure on the crystals (the basis of the piezoelectric effect).
Grinding, polishing & sound activation
Tip and base are ground and polished by hand, then every Pranakristall is energetically activated with sound.

We work exclusively with real gemstones from responsible sourcing, with copper, brass and gold – never with synthetic stones or cheap resin. The result: a pyramid that lasts, stays beautiful and feels like a familiar energetic anchor in your room.

The anatomy of a Pranakristall®
Five components that make every Pranakristall what it is – and set it apart from mass-produced pieces online.
Casting resin – the energy attractor
Carbon-based casting resin (classified as »organic« in orgone theory, chemically a synthetic resin) forms the matrix. As it cures it shrinks slightly and creates permanent pressure on metals and crystals – the basis of the piezoelectric effect.
Precious metal shavings – the transformers
Copper, brass, silver and fine gold flakes as inorganic conductors. They absorb, conduct and transform energy – and give the crystal its warm shimmer.
Real gemstones – the structurers
Curated compositions such as black tourmaline, clear quartz, rose quartz or shungite. Never synthetic. The embedded quartz structures the energy and releases it in harmonised form.
Sacred geometry – Giza proportions
An exact pyramid shape following the proportions of the Great Pyramid of Giza – for directed, harmonious energy distribution in the room.
Energetic activation with sound
After 72 hours of rest every Pranakristall is polished by hand and energetically activated with sound – a final, mindful gesture before it is handed over.

What is a Pranakristall®?
A Pranakristall® is our workshop line of the orgonite pyramid: cast from casting resin, inorganic metal shavings and real gemstones, shaped to the proportions of the Great Pyramid of Giza. The concept goes back to the research of Wilhelm Reich into orgone energy and serves the energetic harmonisation of rooms.
How does an orgonite pyramid work?
An orgonite pyramid works through the interplay of its components: the resin attracts energetic vibrations, the embedded metals reflect them. The cast-in quartz crystal is under permanent pressure from the curing resin (piezoelectric effect) and releases harmonised energy into the room.

Pranakristall® — the original orgonite pyramid
The Pranakristall® is OZ Orgonite's workshop line of the classic orgonite pyramid. Every pyramid is made by hand following the proportions of the Great Pyramid of Giza – from casting resin, fine metal shavings and real gemstones. The idea goes back to researcher Wilhelm Reich, who developed the theory of orgone energy in the 1930s. Karl Welz refined the principle into the handy pyramid form in the 1990s, used worldwide today to harmonise rooms energetically.
Pranakristalle come in several sizes and gemstone compositions – from the classic Matrix with black tourmaline and onyx, through the colourful Rainbow Light, to the luminous Light of God with Herkimer diamond and rutilated quartz. If you're looking for more presence in the room, the Premium Pranakristalle offer large unique pieces with rare gemstone combinations. As a complement for meditation and body work, our chakra stones provide smaller orgonite forms for the seven main chakras.
